I have the clinical knowledge, nursing training, certification, and over 20 years of experience to provide foot and toenail care to help minimize the chance of injury and infection.
As a Certified Foot Care Nurse, I use specialized, sterile equipment to trim toenails of abnormal length and thickness and provide nursing care to include assessment and education re: maintaining toenails of normal length, promoting skin integrity, and preventing ulceration and injuries.
Current demographic trends toward an aging population and associated health issues such as diabetes mellitus, arthritis, peripheral arterial disease, dementia, mental illness, and loss of visual acuity hinder self-care of the feet and toenails. Routine foot and toenail assessment, clinically appropriate care, and patient education are essential for improving foot health.
I would love to work for you and use my expertise to help you with your foot care needs.
Please let me know how I can help you.
